The location of the property was particularly good and superior as we were just off the restaurants downstairs and gangnam. Great service and near subway and a real imperial castle.

This hotel was sold as five star. By International standards it falls well short of this claim. It is not enough to have a fancy lobby (or in this case an ostentatious one) if the rooms are grubby and tired.

Our room was enjoyable and beautifully decorated and it came with South-facing window, main access. The breakfast was amazing, the check in was speedy.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were not very friendly.

I stayed in a cozy room that was nicely decorated, and it had a big window facing south with easy access. the service here was top-notch, and I really enjoyed the awesome pool. Plus, there's a cute cafe in the lobby where you can grab a coffee or snack! ☕

Hard to think of anything
The hotel is billed as 5 star which following a 10 day stay I think is way off the mark. The rooms are small, the décor was very tired (wallpaper poorly patched) and there was thick dust throughout. Even the bath mats / towels are worn out. The restaurants (and bars) were excessively priced even were it a 5 star hotel. The reception staff were pretty incompetent though the concierge service was very good. Overall this is a very disappointing hotel.

The check-in process was seamless and personalized, with a dedicated desk and individual attention given to each guest. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, providing a comfortable and quiet setting. The housekeeping was really good, with fresh towels provided daily and the room kept really clean. We were also delighted by the AVEDA amenities in the luxurious bathroom, giving a touch of indulgence to our stay. The hotel's ambience was serene and provided a quiet oasis in the heart of Gangnam. the gym facilities were well-equipped for those looking to stay fit during their travels. Despite a small issue with the air conditioning in our suite, the staff were prompt in addressing our concerns and ensuring our comfort. our experience at Imperial Palace Seoul was great, and we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

The place is well-equipped with all the facilities you would need when traveling abroad and super clean. Sauna is big and great. Restaurants are aplenty.
Wi-fi is not for free, the breakfast not included, mini-bar is extremely expensive.

The Guest Relation Officer.
The check-in desk and lobby bar's service staff's attitude and poor knowledge of their chosen profession. Totally non hospitable and possess sub zero level of command of English, both in terms of spoken and comprehension.
